Children Uniting Nations and Piper Rudnick Gray, Cary LLC invite you to take part in this life changing experience. Dodger Day
Dodger Day serves as a vehicle to inspire youth who, by no fault of their own, are in the foster care system. This event will expose youth to positive role models and experiences outside of their everyday situation. Foster care agencies throughout the greater Los Angeles area are invited to participate in a fun-filled day including a Dodger baseball game. Thousands of youth are invited to receive complimentary tickets, food and beverages and Dodgers premium giveaways. Dodger Day takes place in partnership with United Care, the Dodgers Dream Foundation, the L.A. Department of Children and Family Services (D.C.F.S.) and Children Uniting Nations. CHIVAS USA DAY
CHIVAS USA Day is a mentor recruitment day to raise awareness to the plight of our at-risk children living in our most vulnerable communities. Much like Dodger Day, CHIVAS USA Day is the community's ways of letting a foster child know that someone from their community cares by providing positive role-model mentoring. This event exposes foster youth to a positive sports experience outside of their every day community experience. Youth spend time with a mentor watching a CHIVAS soccer game while enjoying fun concession foods. Hundreds of foster youth from the greater Los Angeles area participate. |
